New Bern’s Choice Neighborhoods Transformation Plan is complete!  This road map to the transformation of the Greater Five Points area and public housing is the culmination of two years of work by nearly 150 volunteers representing 80 organizations. They spent an estimated 3000 man hours on planning and outreach, and conducted over 500 surveys across the neighborhood. That’s an amazing amount of commitment!  But the work has just begun.  New Bern residents, nonprofits, agencies, and partners are coming together to begin implementing the plan.  This is truly community in action!  Check out the plan here.
